Alpha Futures Ends NinjaTrader Partnership and Closes Premium Plan
Alpha Futures has announced the end of its partnership with NinjaTrader (Tradovate), effective July 12, 2026. The firm said NinjaTrader terminated the contract amid disagreements over onboarding Alpha's own AlphaTrader platform and concerns about promoting both platforms equally. As a result, Alpha can no longer issue new accounts on the NinjaTrader platform.
The firm is also refunding and closing all active Premium Plan accounts, including pending and unpaid payouts on that plan beyond the $25M+ already paid out. Alpha said the Premium Plan — which it had been tweaking to make sustainable — was running at a significant loss, made worse by the loss of the popular Tradovate platform. Refunds will be automatic, with no ticket required.
All other plans are unaffected: existing Zero, Advanced, and Direct accounts on NinjaTrader/Tradovate will be migrated to AlphaTrader this week, and the firm says it will return to same-day payouts and its usual 5-star service. Alpha Futures notes it was the first firm to pay out over $100M in both CFDs and futures.
