Topstep Adds Micro Bitcoin and Micro Ether Futures to Combine Tradable List
Topstep added CME Micro Bitcoin (MBT) and Micro Ether (MET) futures to its tradable instruments list on May 17, 2026. The new contracts are available across all Trading Combine account sizes — $50K, $100K, and $150K — and the rules around max contracts scale proportionally to existing crypto futures. Topstep clarified that the standard-size Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) futures remain restricted to the $150K Combine. The addition gives smaller-account traders direct crypto exposure for the first time on the Topstep platform. Margin and overnight rules mirror the existing futures policy: positions must be closed before the daily settlement window.
