Trailing Drawdown
Risk Management
Definition
Your maximum loss level moves up with your highest equity but never comes back down. It 'trails' your peak balance.
Example
Account peaks at $52,000 with a 5% trailing drawdown. Your new floor is $49,400. If equity later hits $55,000, the floor rises to $52,250.
